“Hope you guys had a great long weekend. I added one extra day last Friday to make it an extra extra long weekend. That is part of my mandate going forward to make these long weekends into 4 or 5 day long weekends…it’s so awesome!
Remember that letter that you helped me draft? I sent a copy to Sabeena in case she would want to use it. We mailed the letter on Thursday, we mailed 50 letters and on Friday afternoon we had 10 clients calling me about it!!

“As you know I am a brand new member. I have been navigating through the website since last Friday and had set up a meeting with a small realtor team to “practice” on. My success story being that my goal of the meeting was to execute & present what I had learned from the 4 quadrants with clarity and to walk away with an agreement to obtain permission to market to their data base.
Well, success the two realtors were more than happy to share the data base. We have a follow-up meeting next Monday (which was one week to the day of yesterdays meeting) to execute to the data base. In addition I will be able to offer a solution to one of their challenges which is turning open house viewers to buyers. It is very empowering to have more control over my realtor presentations for a change.

“Wow! Greg, working with you and getting these extra tools has just paid your fees for the year! I downloaded the inflation hedge strategy and sent it to a client who is a lawyer and his father in law (also on title) is a high income earner as well. They are LOYAL RBC clients. He LOVED the inflation hedge strategy. He asked me to take it back to RBC and negotiate the mortgage with them because his in-laws (also on title) are big RBC clients. I told him RBC won’t deal with me even if he wants them to. He was not impressed that they would shut me out. I also told him that RBC won’t call him every year to make sure that he’s sticking with the strategy and staying on top of making sure they are maximizing on their balance reduction and savings. He said that there’s no question that he wants to deal with me because not only did I come highly recommended from a respected source, they have been really impressed with everything that I have done for them so far. The only hurdle is to convince the in-laws that not dealing with RBC is in their best interest. The mortgage that we are going to do for them is $1 million! Doesn’t close until August, but that’s ok, it helps the volume for the year! Fingers crossed that we’ll get the in-laws onside. Thanks so very much!”

The reason that I have a $1.9 million deal to work on is because of your inflation hedge strategy. The client is approved at Vancity at 3.89% through another broker, he called me as a favour to a friend to get a second opinion. I showed him the inflation hedge strategy and he was thoroughly impressed. PLUS, he’s a realtor/developer, so he said that if I could pull this off for him, he would be sending his clients to me because he hadn’t seen any broker put anything like this together before. Nor had any broker ever helped him with mortgage strategies AFTER his mortgage had funded.
